Here's the horse I just finished for my daughter's room. My next picture is going to be challenge. I'm going to attempt to draw a friend's motorcycle in charcoal.

Yes, I believe you're in for a challenge with the motorcycle. I would think drawing 'chrome' with charcoal would be a tough one even for a Van Gogh (during his charcoal days). Best wishes and looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks for the link Sean. I have started drawing the motorcycle. It's turning out really good but it is definitely a challenge. It's also taking a lot longer to complete. When I'm done I'll post the photograph and the finished drawing. One of the things I am finding challenging is that no matter how sharp my charcoal pencils are it is near impossible to get fine details so a lot of the work is playing with shading and gradients to give the impression of small objects, like bolts, cables, etc.
