| I have two, a small one that connects to a computer and a old overhead projector that uses transparencies. Up to now I have only used the small projector to enlarge my pics to about a meter wide and use it to get the prospective right. I only sketch the outlines. The overhead I intend to use for large murals. I only use the projector if I want to capture large detail. For landscapes and Plien Air paintings I use a brush only. The reason I mention projectors is I was hoping to discuss their use with others who use them. The internet is such a great source of inspiration. I bought some Airbrushes but have yet to introduce them into my art. I only use Acrylics but will consider over painting in Oils for the added luster. Trouble is I have many hobbies and time is of the essence. I am about to make some more frames as woodworking is also a hobby. It is amazing how easy it is to slice up scrap wood, rout in the shape and cut to size. I like to see how detailed I can get the routing. So any comments on this and any suggestions most appreciated. Doing it is my reward at 69 I am not into selling my art. I give it away to friends who really want them. My rule is, if they frame it they can have it. |
